Unidentified gunmen shot dead civilian in north Kashmir’s Handwara | KNO

Handwara, May 27 (KNO) : Unidentified gunmen on Monday evening shot dead a youth in Babagund Langate area of Handwar in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district. Reports reaching KNO said that on Monday evening, unidentified gunmen attacked and shot dead a civilian at Babagund Handwara, however the injured received critical injuries in the attack and later succumbed on way to hospital. A Senior police officer confirmed the incident and said that unidentified gunman killed a “civilian” who was identified as Abdul Majid Shah(39) son of Gulam Hassan shah a resident of Baba Gund area of Langate in Kupwara district. He said that forces have cordoned the area and launched a manhunt. “Police in this regard has registered a case and initiated investigations,” the officer added.(KNO)
